Happy new year to you and all around you.
let's hope that there will be more non-Tigrean Ethiopians in key positions just to make it look a bit representative.
It's about time some Woyanes go back to Adwa and mekele.

The salvation to Ethiopia lies in both the the government and the opposition finding a common space to move forward. We need to urge both sides to do the right thing, not blindly supporting the opposition and opposing the government at all costs (even when they release 18,000 prsoners.)

Melkam Addis Amet

Hey annonymous 11:09 PM, September 12, 2007

As an abusive wife-beater husband who has to look good to self proclaimed marriage councilors (0r fanatic blood relatives of mine) that already support me b/c they wouldn't have their 'charity ngo' financed jobs if it wasn't for wife-beater thugs like me; all I need to do is take my wife to ER at local hospital on her 21st birth day for the first time after breaking all her ribs? And hope nobody will mention the kids of hers I stranggled to death a few months ago? And who cares if my wife never wanted to be married to me but was forced into it in the first place? Where would be the common ground for me? Because I'll beat her up again, and again...and there is nothing you want to do for her but only for me.

Dear Wonq,

Some of us really did a good job at reflecting into the future of our country. However we did have a good celebration in Josi, although Wonq you negelcted to join us. Not so much crowd though
because the Abune was actually here. Instead of doing the burake at home he decided to take a trip to S.A. You know how our churches preach dooms day blabla. They put so much fear of God in the people that the majority decided to spend the Millennium eve celebrating mass at the Ethio churches.

The biggest weakness of us -- Ethiopians -- is the failure to see from the other sides point of view. That applies to the government as well as to the various factions of the opposition groups. That is what we need to change in the future as a start.

I dont know where 2 start. we have a great historyi.i.e we did not allow the white people to take our freedom and dehumanize us for their personal use or exploite us. we were strong and lead the foundation for the fellow Africans to fight for their freedom. But where are we now? the world poorest country whose freedom has been take over by ourown poeple. where our soul is ruled by weapons and expensive guns. shity autocractic governace system. HOW does it feel to be enslaved by your own people? All i know is that God gave us the freedom on this planet. that freedom can only be taken if we allow it or only God can take that freedom away from. Ask youself what is your purpose on this planet? Just be enslaved and probaly die so no one would be you ever existed.i would rather be somebody and die than be a slave. why do you think the Arabs do sucide bombing e.g world trade center? do you think people like like Binladen who is trained by the top cia in usa and a very rich person would rather prefere to do such a thing and be hiding in the bushes and mountains. u thing he is not intelelnt enoug for that or u may think he is stupid? He got fed up when his freedom of people was ripped away by usa. now the only people that i know want to live like slaves probabely like animals with no brain and soul is Ethiopians . Pls wake up people. we have been left behind. i thout we were intellegent people com[pared to the rest of african countries but i dont c that.

how many ngos do we have in et? probaly hundreds. do u think they r help us they r actually ruining our natural abiblity to work for ourself be somebody. They r taking the survival tools that God gave u. and turn into nothing but a begger. They r actually finding some employment for themselves and a means of income. dam it people i dont if u have fried u brains.

we have ony one tv station for 74million people. how do u expect people to share info. how do expect business to do thier. tvs are one of the great assets for runnig biz. entertaiment bus one of great things for increasing our revenue and circulating wealth and increasing investiment and living standards. adds not only creat revenue but help bus rich the cons effectivelly. info about the world is also important

Look at the kind of news that tv presents.very irrelvant to the nation.

our education system is also so incorect. they lack the basics. i.e letting the students c reality of the country in their own perspective. let the think. not rot learnig. donot waste money on incompetent lectures from indea.; if u care for the naton and want to c a change invest in education infrastracture and bring lectures from england and america or even south africa.
